German Grain Sacks…old and authentic

I am the purveyor of industrial, mercantile and one-of-a-kind furnishings and accouterments, selling to the trade from my farmhouse, barns and warehouse. I have public show space in Bournebrook Antique Center in Troy, New York and Hudson Supermarket in Hudson, New York.
Urban Indian, my husband, Ken’s, custom antique repurposing business, is located in the horse barn on our property.
For the past 12 years, though, my great love has been German grain sacks. My collection ranges from 1807 to 1930 and I have used them all over my house as upholstery, curtains and art and all over myself as embellishment for clothing and bags. Even a plain old pile of sacks is compelling!
I have many hundreds of grain sacks, possibly the largest collection in the USA! They are all old and authentic. There are many samples throughout this site.
