Welcome to my site and blog. The blog (in the bar at the top of this page) features
examples of our furniture and accessories, accompanied by stories of finding and
fixing. I’ve also devoted some space to one of my great loves, German grain sacks.
Please excuse the mess while I am updating!
I am the purveyor of industrial, mercantile and one-of-a-kind furnishings and accouterments much of which is re-purposed at Urban Indian, my husband, Ken Fougnier’s, workshop. My public show space is located at Hudson Supermarket (www.hudsonsupermarket.com), a 7,000 square foot antique center in Hudson, New York. It’s a great old Hudson River town with more than 65 fabulous antique shops and interesting owner-operated retail stores. Restaurants of all kinds and charming inns abound.
The current Hudson Supermarket website does not look like me! It is not yet representative
of the kinds of things I sell. However, if you like what you see on my site, please be
assured that my space in Hudson Supermarket is enormous, fully stocked and always fun.
The rest of the store is fantastic, as well. The Supermarket is one of Vogue Magazine’s 4
favorite places to shop in Hudson….I hope that it will be yours, too!
